Add elderberries and water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for 30-45 minutes.
Add in any of your preferred add-ins
Reduce cooked elderberry to 1-2 cups of liquid. Once it has cooled, drain the warm juice into a separate container.
Next, pour the honey into a large glass bowl. Pour the warm elderberry liquid over the honey and mix well.
Pour the elderberry syrup into a sealable container such as a mason jar and store in the fridge for 1-2 months.
